On behalf of the Management Committee, we are apologise for the school closed on Sunday 5/12/2010.

The decision was made after consulted all teachers and volunteers involved and are based upon two factors:

-         The safety and conditions of the site

-         The Safety for students, parents and volunteers to get to school and back home.

Its 'KICK IT OUT' again, our school had received some FREE tickets from Sheffield United Football Club for the Game V Burnley on Saturday, 16th October, 2010. Kick Off 3:00

Artist Mr. Li Hong Ping from China will be visiting the Chinese School on Sunday, 25th April to display his printing and demonstrate his Chinese brush printing skill. He will be acompany by specialist art interpreter Mr. Wang An Ping.

The  management Committee would like to thank you everyone involved in the New Year parade in Sheffield City Centre on 13/02/2010. Also, thank you for the wonderful performances from our students in  our New Year Celebration on 14/02/2010 at King Edward Lower School, Darwin Lane, Sheffield.

Chinese New Year is just round the corner, The Sheffield Chinese Association and the Sheffield Chinese School arranged a serial events to celebrate the Year of Tiger.

New Year Parade on 13/02/2010 at Town Hall and New Year Celebration on14/02/2010 at King Edward Lower School. Click HERE for details. Map for New Year Celebration.

We also arranged a Fund raising Karaoke Night on Tuesday, 23/02/2010 at Wong Tin Restaurant. Ticket £20 each.

10 students from our school took part in the 'KICK IT OUT' poster competition organised by Sheffield United F.C. The winner King-Yee Cheung was presented with a framed copy of her entry by Sun Jihai on the pitch at the Sheffield United V Preston North End game on 25th October. GOOD NEWS! Best ever GCSE results! Ten students from our school took part in the GCSE Chinese examination in last summer, they all got A*. The sucessful candidates are Ian Cheung-Keung Wong, Richard Du, Iek-Hou Chan, Ethan He, Debbie Lea-Wah Lee, Jody Yam, Kirsry Lee, Michelle Ng, Sophie Lee and Christopher Wong. We wish them having great success in the future.

Congratulations and thanks for all the hardworks from our volunteer and teachers.

ur school's Folk Dance Team and Chinese Musical Instrument Team took part in the Cultural Performance Competition 2008, organised by the UK Federation of Chinese Schools at Logan Hall, Institute of Education, University of London.  Our Chinese Instrument Team won the Champion of the Chinese Instrument Category.
